3.3.3 NFS file storage
NFS is a relatively simple network file system. The NFS service shares its directory or file to a specified client, allowing users or applications to access these shared files as if they were local files. In the high-energy computing platform, multiple NFS file systems are provided. The specific information is shown in the following table.
experiment | usage | directory | access entrance (client) | space |
---|---|---|---|---|
BES | BES user's directory storage | /ihepbatch/bes or /home/bes | all login nodes | 1.9TB |
CC | CC user's public storage | /ihepbatch/cc or /home/cc | all login nodes | 3.5TB |
CMS | CMS user's grid storage | /pnfs | all login nodes | 1.0EB |
